How a keg is made

from terms()

  • The split. Most of every supply is minted to the froth and casked in the pool; the rest is minted to the brewer, liquid from the first block. The two shares are constants.
  • The range. Every pool opens at the first pour, the cheap end of one fixed range, and the hook refuses any trade that would leave it. The two ends are constants.
  • The steep minute. A fixed number of seconds in which no swap goes through, from any router.
  • The froth. A flat share of the ETH side of every trade, in ETH, to the brewer. The LP fee is zero and tapping a keg costs nothing but gas.

The figures themselves are in the verified source and in `terms()`; this page describes them rather than restating them.
